This is a post that I am hiding in the back of my blog but I will try to link to. It will be a compilation of all of the tips and tricks that we have learnt through the building process. If anyone thinks of any please let me know and i will add to it.
Communicate everything in writing
Read and reread the specs
Compare the specs to the drawings and tick off on everything
Get a survey of your property
Privacy locks for toilets
In order to get thing started read the contract carefully and see what is required from the owner. If all of this is provided in writing there is no excuse not to start on your property.
Check everything carefully as it is being done. Do not wait until it is easy to do, do it straight away.
