OK bricks tomorrow then...

Her indoors followed up with our CSM on Friday and apparently the brickies are booked for Monday.

She has also been playing with our tiles, never one to make a decision we now have three 300x600 tiles sitting in family room (they all look very similar) and I immediately chose the one that apparently is exactly the same as our previous selection.

We also went to the new Jamieson display home out in Pakenham, this is classed as a Jamieson Bungalow.  The facade is a lot different.
I borrowed this image from Janine Kimberly who is building a similar house.
This is what the Jamieson used to look like:
And this is what ours should look like:
Her indoors fell in love with our floorboards again but she was a little worried about how small our new living room will be, supposedly doubling the size of our living room won't be enough for her.  It is amazing how the change in furniture between the two displays changes the perspective on things.

The new display also has it's alfresco very close to the neighbouring property and is down the hill from the neighbour giving the alfresco a very closed in feel.  Luckily ours won't be as bad as this one.

  1. I'm glad that you went and had a look at this one. We love the look but apparently according to James it will cost a fortune to get this look - hmm.. so we are investigating other looks!!! Yes, I pity the people that eventually buy that house, the Alfresco is dreadful - looking out onto a fence and so dark as well. Glad to hear yours will be lighter!!

  3. This is my sketchup model of the house. If you want Janine, because I have the Jamieson Facade Already, let me know what colours you have and I can show you what yours may be like. (email me at room4acubby@gmail.com)
