We have finalised another selection step. Carpets. We were very glad that we had been to a few different carpet stores and had a very good idea about what we wanted.
We knew that we wanted pure wool, twist pile and an earthy tone, not grey and not camel coloured. This was great as it limited our choice. The saleswoman told us to take our shortlised colours into the direct sunlight to see what they looked like, this finalised the colour choice immediately and within 1.5 hours we had settled on the carpet:
That orange thing underneath was a free rug that the carpet shop was giving away with the carpets, we could see why they were being given away as this was the best out of a lot of very ugly looking rugs.
