Tonight her indoors and I will have another meeting with our broker. Unfortunately this is only to receive the Preliminary Approval documents and to supply some more PAYG statements from her indoors to prove that she has a proper job (this seems weird as the bank should already know this).
Apparently our current home has shot up in value from the previous bank evaluation which makes it all good for us.
